The future king of England is George Alexander Louis....but that will probably be in the next century. Prince Charles is presently heir to the British throne.
He will not become king until his mother, Queen Elizabeth, abdicates
(gives up the throne), retires or dies. When either of these happen,
Prince Charles may abdicate and pass the throne to his eldest son Prince William.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate have revealed their new born son's name.
Kensington Palace said in a short statement this evening:
'The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis. The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.
