Three of the six men killed were our members - MASSOB

Six persons were alleged to have been shot dead by security agencies in the commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State today being the 8th of June 2013 during the MASSOB Sit-at-Home order which was believed to have recorded some extent of success. 
MASSOB claimed three of the six men killed were its members named Sunday Idom, Emeka Ibe and Okechukwu Okoro.
They were allegedly shot dead by soldiers at Bide Road Omits, where five others were said  to be injured.
It was  also gathered that some group of boys suspected to be MASSOB members set ablaze a Police patrol van at Oba Junction.
Commander 302 Artillery Regiment Onitsha, Col. T. A. Gagariga told newsmen on phone that he was not aware that soldiers shot and killed MASSOB members, adding that he was aware that some MASSOB members who were on patrol with their vehicles, had a fatal accident at Modebe Avenue junction by Iweka Road which led to the instant death of two of them while some others sustained serious injuries.
