BOKO HARAM SHOCKS PRESIDENT JONATHAN FEW MINUTES AFTER THE DECLARATION OF STATE OF EMERGENCY

Just few minutes after the President of the federal republic of Nigeria declared a state of Emergency in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe state, the Boko Haram assasinated the Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Borno State Rev. Faye Pama Musa, he was on  Tuesday evening shot dead in his house in Maiduguri by gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect.
Sources revealed that Musa, who was also the presiding pastor of REME Assembly, Maiduguri, was trailed to his house around the Government Reservation Area (GRA) area at about 7.30.p.m by two gunmen.
"He attempted to run away but his assailants were closed on him. They (gunmen) shot him at close range," a source said.
Media aide to CAN National President, Pastor Ayo Oritsajafor, Kenny Asaka, confirmed the incident to journalists, adding that the president of the association just received the report with "heavy heart."
"The Borno CAN secretary has been killed. We've got the report and the national president received it with heavy heart. It is very sad," he said.
Attempts to get the police confirmation however was unsuccessful as the mobile line of the Public Relations Officer of the Borno Police Command, Gideon Jubrin, was not reachable as at the time of filing this report.
