THE DEMOCRATIC DYNASTY OF THE UBA’S FAMILY: THE UBACRACY.

Over the years, the Anambra south senatorial district have been in the hands of three brothers who have defined themselves by virtue of their actions as political giants in the zone in particular and in Anambra at large. It is very obvious that the Uba’s family in Aguata local government area of Anambra south have bought over the senatorial seat of the zone. The question then is whether or not the good people of Anambra south constituting of seven (7) local government areas ever put their senatorial seat  for sale ?  I call this Ubacracy which is best defined as a government of the brothers and for the brothers of the Uba's dynasty. First it was Ugochukwu Uba who occupied the office from 2003 to 2007, then comes Andy Uba from 2011 to 2015 and now the youngest but stronger and dreaded Chris Uba the well known political God father of Anambra politics who successfully kidnapped Chris Ngige as a sitting Governor  of Anambra state is now contesting….. my fear is that should he succeed as Senator, then perhaps in 2019 it might go back to Ugochukwu Uba for a second term then Andy and finally Chris again. We say no to Ubacracy. This is the best time for the people of Anambra south senatorial district to take what rightfully belong to them. The time for money politics is gone and the people want to experience the dividends of democracy.
From my research, Engr. Ndukwe who is coming from the NCC will likely get the support and the votes of the Anaedo clan comprising, Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Local Government Areas, while the Ubas will get votes from their Old Aguata Union ( OAU) clan, made up of Orumba South, Orumba North and Aguata Local Government Areas. Ihiala Local Government will determine the winner of the zone.Good people of Anambra south, what developmental projects have these three brothers brought to the zone ? Vote wisely ?
